According to the papers today Bex and Luke from the UK's Big Brother got married in Vegas yesterday. Anyone else find this disgusting? At a time when gay people are still fighting for the rights to have their relationships legally recognised in the US, it seems that anyone else can get married as long as you're straight. It doesnt matter how long you've known the person, or even if you plan on spending the rest of your life them. You can get married as a PR stunt to keep your name in the paper for a few more weeks, goddess forbid that you might actually be in love with your partner for 30 years, we just couldn't possibly tolerate that sort of attack on the sanctity of marriage.
Farsical. Damaging. Insulting.
Where's the outcry about this?
